Presentation

Hello conference participant!

My name is Frida Carlsson, and I study special pedagogy at Åbo Akademi in Vasa. This is my fourth year and I am currently trying to finish my master thesis, since I will start working as a teacher this autumn. I got involved in this conference after reading some information on it in one of the student's weekly mails, it seemed so interesting that I decided to get involved :) Apart from being a participant of the conference I am also involved in arranging with functionaries, or the students that will help participants with technical equipment, information or whatever you will need help with :) All students are doing this on a voluntary basis, the economical compensation that we will receive for working will all be donated to our student house which you can't miss whilst visiting Academill- it is the two towers facing the sea. We are very proud of them, but the costs are extensive for a small student union, especially since the towers are marked as valuable from a cultural historical view, we have to be very careful when restoring them.

Anyways, I just wanted to write a short presentation of myself and my involvement. I look forward to see you all on Thursday!
